DSHS Article about Pongo Poetry at CSTC
On October 23rd, DSHS published “Poetry is Part of Therapy at CSTC” , an article about Pongo Poetry Project’s 20 years at Child Study and Treatment Center (CSTC ), an inpatient mental health treatment center of teens and children located in Lakewood, Washington.
The article features the perspective of long time CSTC Project Leader Ann Teplick and Program Manager Shaun McMichael, along with the poem below, which will be featured in Pongo Book 16 scheduled for release in Spring 2021.
