Pongo is proud to partner with the South Seattle Emerald to share the poetry of our youth writers with the wider community. Every month, Pongo publishes two columns featuring youth poetry from our flagship program sites in the Seattle area. Through this special bi-monthly column, Pongo invites readers to bear witness to the pain, resilience, and creative capacity of youth whose voices and perspectives are too often relegated to the periphery.
